Werfen UK Helpdesk Update
Our Technical Support Helpdesk has always been an important focus area for growth and development. Over the last few years this has resulted in expansion of our Helpdesk to a team of five dedicated Technical Support Specialists, all based in the Werfen office with instruments and laboratory resources on hand, and all able to provide first line technical and application support for our portfolio of instrumentation.
Our Technical Support Specialists take part in extensive analyser, application and IT training to ensure that your technical queries can be dealt with as quickly and efficiently as possible. Additionally, our remote connectivity services allow us to monitor analyser issues and provide proactive intervention to reduce any disruption to service.
Meet our Team!
Louisa Herbert – Technical Support Specialist
Louisa uses her 15 years’ experience as a Biomedical Scientist to assist with troubleshooting various application and analyser issues. A DIY enthusiast, Louisa needs no excuse to crack open her tool kit and can often be found dismantling analysers (for investigational purposes of course!)
Other talents include photography and baking the best peanut butter brownies!
Jessica Worswick – Technical Support Specialist
Providing excellent customer support has always been a passion for Jessica, who has spent time as an Application Specialist in Dubai as well as several years working with a variety of analysers as a Biomedical Scientist.
Going the extra mile to assist customers comes naturally to Jess, and when she is not in the office she is racking up the air miles, to fuel her love of travelling and exploring new places.
Harvey Oppermans – Technical Support Specialist
Harvey joined us in November 2020 and didn’t let lockdown prevent him from hitting the ground running, taking part in hardware and application training for the majority of our analysers already.
Harvey loves the feeling of resolving customer issues remotely – outside of work he gets the same adrenaline rush from hanging off of rocks whilst bouldering, not for the faint hearted!
Lizzie Ennis – Technical Support Specialist
We are pleased to introduce our newest team member, Lizzie, whose previous experience of working in laboratories and on a technical helpdesk make her the perfect addition to our helpdesk.
Away from the office, Lizzie enjoys getting back to nature, visiting as many National Trust sites as possible and is a keen cook. The rest of the helpdesk team are very much looking forward to sampling some of her culinary delights!
Abby Welsh – Technical Support Manager
Abby has 8 years of experience working in Technical Support for a range of POC and laboratory IVD equipment.
A keen quizzer and board game geek enthusiast, Abby loves the problem-solving aspect of troubleshooting and celebrates every customer issue that is resolved as a personal victory.
