Overview
We are looking to hire a Quality Control Analyst II with experience in PCR technology and techniques and serological testing techniques. This position is responsible for evaluating all processes leading to the accurate and reliable generation of data for biologic products or medical devices. Quality Control Analyst II (Quality Assurance)
Responsibilities
As a Quality Control Analyst II, you will perform routine procedures and sample collections as well as analytical, stability and/or performance testing to monitor adherence to QC specifications and good laboratory and manufacturing practices.
Your specific duties as a Quality Control Analyst II will include:
- Working with outside contract laboratories, submitting samples, and reviewing results
- Performing routine QC testing / data analysis to meet production schedule timelines
- Working overtime as needed to meet production schedule timelines
- Submitting accurate Results Recording data to support the QC Trend program
- Supporting core team projects and deliverables
- Assisting with QC investigations per written and verbal instructions
- Performing and documenting laboratory and equipment maintenance per written protocols
- Training new employees and co-workers as required
- Initiating and editing documents in a document-management system such as QPulse
- Managing inventory through simple Great Plains transactions
Quality Control Analyst II (Quality Assurance)
Qualifications
We are looking for a reliable and results-focused individual who can communicate effectively and professionally with a cross-functional group. Strong analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking and prioritization skills are also essential to this role.
Specific qualifications for the Quality Control Analyst II position include:
- BA or BS degree in biological science (preferred) or chemistry
- 1-3 years related experience in a laboratory quality environment
- Experience in PCR technology and techniques and serological testing techniques
- Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), QSR, GMP/GLP requirements
- Intermediate computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, preferred
- Investigations/OOS Reporting experience
- Experience with QSR, GMP /GLP or ISO13485, a plus
