Job Summary

Senior SW Test Engineer performs verification and validation activities for clinical software, reports test results and defects.

He/she may mentor or supervise more junior team members

The role of SW Test Engineer is under supervision of the project manager and test leader.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Review of requirements, specifications and design
  • Define and execute test using different techniques and tools
  • Report test results
  • Report defects
  • Participate in SW Risk Analysis
  • He / She may also provide support in:
  • Planning, allocation and control testing activities of the project.
  • Review results of test and prepare reporting
  • Generation of metrics

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

Education: Engineer, computer Science or other Technical degree, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

  • 4 years in SW functional and non-functional test or equivalent
  • Practical experience with issue tracking and defect management.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • SW Test automation experience
  • Scripting or coding experience
  • Software Engineering Process knowledge
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
  • Knowledge of clinical or medical sector
  • Experience with configuration management tools
  • Cyber-security
  • IT knowledge for Test Environment setup
  • Language: Specific to country and role’s needs.
  • Team Working.

Desirable

  • Protactor/WDIO,REST Assured Knowledge
