Overview
Position Summary:
The Worldwide Product Manager, Patient Blood Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ROTEM product portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the development and commercialization of innovative diagnostic solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the healthcare or diagnostics industry, a clinical understanding of POC Hemostasis and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Key AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
- Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Develop and execute upstream marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.
- Define product roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to translate market insights into product requirements.
- Drive the development of new diagnostic solutions from concept to launch.
- Ensure alignment of product development with regulatory requirements and clinical needs.
- Lifecycle Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life.
- Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to improve existing products.
- Develop and implement strategies for product differentiation and market penetration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with global affiliates, R&D, regulatory affairs, and clinical teams to ensure successful product launches.
- Act as a liaison between global teams to ensure cohesive product strategies and execution.
- Provide technical and product expertise to downstream and commercial teams.
- Financial and Business Acumen:
- Develop financial models and business cases to support product development and commercialization decisions.
- Monitor and report on product performance, including sales, profitability, and market share.

Qualifications
Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree Science, Medical Technology, Nursing or related scientific discipline or degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent required
Experience:
- Minimum of five years related experience in product management, preferably in the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices in the diagnostics field.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Must be available for International Travel.
Additional Skills/Knowledge:
- Language: Fluency in English required.
Travel Requirements:
- Must be available for International and Domestic travel up to 10% – 15% of the time.
