Overview

Position Summary:

 

The Worldwide Product Manager, Patient Blood Management will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our ROTEM product portfolio. This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive the development and commercialization of innovative diagnostic solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the healthcare or diagnostics industry, a clinical understanding of POC Hemostasis and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Key AccountabilitiesEssential Functions:

 

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
    • Conduct comprehensive market assessments to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
    • Develop and execute upstream marketing strategies that align with the company’s vision and goals.
    • Define product roadmaps and long-term strategic plans.
  • Product Development:
    • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and design teams to translate market insights into product requirements.
    • Drive the development of new diagnostic solutions from concept to launch.
    • Ensure alignment of product development with regulatory requirements and clinical needs.
  • Lifecycle Management:
    • Manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to end-of-life.
    • Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback to improve existing products.
    • Develop and implement strategies for product differentiation and market penetration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with global affiliates, R&D, regulatory affairs, and clinical teams to ensure successful product launches.
    • Act as a liaison between global teams to ensure cohesive product strategies and execution.
    • Provide technical and product expertise to downstream and commercial teams.
  • Financial and Business Acumen:
    • Develop financial models and business cases to support product development and commercialization decisions.
    • Monitor and report on product performance, including sales, profitability, and market share.

Qualifications

Minimum Knowledge & Experience Required for the Position:

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree Science, Medical Technology, Nursing or related scientific discipline or degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent required

Experience:

  • Minimum of five years related experience in product management, preferably in the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and clinical practices in the diagnostics field.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Must be available for International Travel.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Language: Fluency in English required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be available for International and Domestic travel up to 10% – 15% of the time.
