About the Position

Position Summary
Reporting to the People Director LATAM and dotted to the General Manager (GM) of Brasil, this role will strengthen the People function in Brasil as a trusted business partner and advisor who provides value and contributes to the achievement of business outcomes. This position will provide support to the GM of Brasil and to the respective Leadership Team. It will manage all People activities and processes in alignment with the Three-Year Strategic Plan (3YSP) and blend local and global People practices in a seamless plan communicated clearly to the organization and executed within the defined timelines.


Summary of Accountabilities
This position involves working closely with the People Director for Latin America and the General Manager (GM) of Brasil to develop an HR Strategy for Brasil that aligns with the global People strategic plan and supports the business in achieving its Three-Year Strategic Plan (3YSP). This position is responsible for executing all global and local people related processes and projects, such as performance, talent management, culture, engagement, and organization effectiveness, as well as recruitment, onboarding, talent retention, stakeholder management, and all projects that support Brasil business goals. This position will integrate these global and local activities into a single plan and communicate the plan to the organization. This position will also be a great networker and build relationships with key and critical stakeholders of Brasil.


Key Accountabilities

  • Leadership Team member: brings People perspective to the table as part of Brasil and Leadership Team.
  • Business advisor: provides credible and trusted advice and guidance to the business.
  • People coaching and consulting: supports Brasil with PEOPLE coaching and consulting.
  • Talent resourcing and workforce planning: designs strategic plans for talent sourcing, development, and retention.
  • Organization and technical capabilities: identifies and defines capabilities with the business to drive results.

    Stakeholder relationships: maintains ongoing dialogue and builds positive and long-term relationships with different stakeholders and their teams to understand their business challenges and opportunities and leverage PEOPLE solutions and interventions as needed.
  • Integrated Talent Strategy: ensures that Brasil have the right talent, at the right time for the right positions with special emphasis on development and retention. In coordination with the GM and the leadership team:
  • Talent acquisition: selects, interviews, recruits, and onboard top talent in the marketplace with the support of external vendors.
  • Talent development: conducts a Learning Need Analysis and defines & implements a country specific development plan leveraging internal and external resources that will build capability across the organization and raise the bar in individual performance.
  • Talent management: deploys the Global Talent Management process to identify key and emerging talent, and designs programs to develop and retain our high potentials.
  • Global People Solutions co-design: co-designs Global People Solutions with the Global PEOPLE Team.
  • People Systems and tools: leverages enterprise People Systems and tools that support the implementation of processes providing relevant and timely metrics that monitor performance.
  • People communication: ensures Brasil receives frequent updates on the work the People function is progressing forward, leveraging all internal communication channels: meetings, email, the intranet and creating new ones if needed.
  • Werfen Ambassador: raises awareness of Werfen in Brasil by delivering presentations that socialize the brand and Werfen’s business agenda across universities, consultancy companies, candidates, etc.

    Knowledge & Experience:
    Minimum 6-8 years of work experience in People dept.
    Has min experience of 2-3 years as an People Consultant or Specialist.
    Previous experience in managing People Systems.
    Knowledge of People frameworks (culture, engagement, organization effectiveness, learning & development, talent) and People sub-functions: C&B, recruitment, labour relations, etc.
    Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
