NOVA Lite DAPI ANCA ethanol and formalin reagents were FDA cleared for use with NOVA View in February 2017. A poster was presented during 2017, AACC in San Diego that compared NOVA Lite DAPI ANCA ethanol and formalin performance on NOVA View to the manual method.

This study evaluated 653 samples from relevant disease controls as well as previously characterized positive samples. The study found that digital images acquired by NOVA View using NOVA Lite DAPI ANCA ethanol showed a 94.5% and formalin a 93.4%, overall agreement with the manual method.

NOVA View's single well titer (SWT) for ANCA ethanol was also compared to the manual method. NOVA View with SWT using NOVA Lite DAPI ANCA ethanol achieved a 91.5% agreement at + 1 dilution and 97.9% agreement at + 2 dilutions.
