Overview
We are looking for an internal candidate for the position of Commercial Operations Manager. He/She will report to the Global Commercial Operations Director and work closely with other Departments, Affiliates, and Strategic Business Units on global projects such as CRM, Data and analytics, AI, and process improvement.
Job Overview
Our goal is to make commercial operations more efficient by harmonizing and improving our global processes. Within the project's scope, we will transform our Digital Ecosystem, including implementing a new CRM (sales, service, marketing), Sales Enablement Tool, and Business Intelligence Platform, becoming a data-driven company.
You will be part of the Global Commercial Operations structure, participating in all the project phases: plan, discovery, execute, implementation, monitor, migration, onboarding, and training in collaboration with other departments and external partners.
You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders across various functional areas, understanding their current and future business processes and requirements. Your main responsibilities will include:
- global BI applications (sales, service, marketing): ownership, development, and maintenance in collaboration with the IT department; gather needs from the affiliates and SBUs; lead training programs to ensure the adoption of a data-driven culture
- participate in global commercial operations process harmonization and optimization, change management, and roll-outs (including, but not limited to, customer master harmonization, free-of-charge requests, instrument requests, profitability calculation, contract and revenue lifecycle management)
- participate in all the project phases associated with the deployment of business tool, like the CRM
Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Collaborate in multi-phased, cross-functional projects and associated planning efforts, including requirement documentation and delivery of overall design (sometimes with a 3rd party partner), all working with project stakeholders and the broader organization.
- Project Communications & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate communications among Werfen stakeholders from various functions and act as an escalation point.
- Change Management: Collaborate with the internal and external implementation teams in developing, deploying and maintaining change management
- Project Outputs and Outcomes: Ensure the programs’ deliverables meet quality standards, regulations, policies, and best practices. Collaborate with the internal and external implementation teams to ensure that all desired project outputs have been delivered towards the end of each phase and project.
- Demand control: Act as the gatekeeper for future requirements and customization needs, ensuring maximum efficiency, harmonization and ROI.
- Tracking: Facilitate the orderly execution of the programs: including finalizing deliverables, conducting post-implementation reviews, and transitioning responsibilities to stakeholders or ongoing Operations. Own the user adoption of the processes and tools and ensure teams get the most from them. Collaborate in developing the appropriate KPIs and reports for the management teams.
- Evolution: Help to conceptualize, develop, interpret, and analyze requirements to align business process efficiencies and improvements with system features and ensure the accuracy of information feeding into the systems. Lead improvements to efficiency and effectiveness towards operational excellence.

Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience required for the position:
Minimum
- Language: English, Spanish is a plus
- Has successfully managed projects with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to build relationships at all levels across an organization.
- Experience with BI tools

Travel requirements:
Up to 20%
Exceptionally, during the implementation phases, more travel can be required.
