Title of position: Product Manager

Position Summary

 

To develop and implement short, medium- and long-term marketing strategies for the product line managed by him/her. This position requires developing sales and marketing communication tools to support the marketing and sales activities at country level as well as interacting and providing support to internal departments. He/she is responsible for having a good communication level between IZASA Medical and providers managed by him/her.

Key Accountabilities

• Define with Division Manager product price and control offers and ZGP program.

• Prepare and coordinate marketing support programs.  Contribute to planning and creation of advertising and promotional materials.  Write technical specifications and internal documents to support sales and marketing.

• Prepare and coordinate marketing activities and clinical support programs.

• Keep informed about new technologies regarding the interventional field.

• Define the product strategy and roadmap

• Prepare the forecast, and monitor inventory levels

• Maintain constant communication with distribution companies and key opinion leaders

• Be an expert with respect to his/her portfolio and the competition products.

• Provide sales team with the necessary technical expertise

• Maintain close relationships with KOL.

• Assist and support clinical procedures.

• Assist national and international congresses

• Preparation, definition and execution of clinical workshops.

• Interface with all levels of management and to independently resolve conflicts/problems with company peers.

• Manage and drive internal projects with minimal supervision.

Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics

Budget managed (if applicable)

Sales and marketing budget assigned must be managed, normally with support of his/her Line Manager.

Internal Networking/Key relationships

This position requires cooperating with different company departments, such as public tenders, customer service, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Operations, Logistics, Finance and the other team members of the business line group for the implementation of the marketing and sales plans.

Skills & Capabilities:

This is a high-visibility position. The ideal candidate will have a combination of clinical knowledge and business experience, extensive knowledge of specific business line, with high-energy and be extremely self-motivated.

Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

Position requires a BS degree in a related science field, to include Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or Medical Device Technology and 1-5 years of experience in a combination of technical and business/marketing/product management assignments. Preferability, related to Respiratory medical devices products.  

Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

Previous experience in the business line is required

Extensive knowledge of her business line products

Effective and influential communication skills as evident in meeting with key opinion leaders, Surgeons, nurses, doctors, formal presentations, informal discussions and written documentation

Must have high energy, initiative, be a self-starter, be very self-motivated, and creative

Able to build cooperative relationships and work as a team

Able to plan, organize and establish priorities within the division marketing and sales strategies

Able to use the most common office software and corporate IT systems (e.g. SAP)

Experience using PC-based applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).

Language fluency: English and Spanish

International Mobility:

·         Required: No.

Travel requirements:

·         Up to 80 % of time (domestic) and 10% International.
