Job Summary

Ensure company is aligned with applicable law and regulations as well as internal compliance policies. Special focus on auditing business partner adherence to Healthcare Compliance industry best practices.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Monitor Commercial relationships with business partners, from the on-boarding process (due diligence) to the signature of the contract.
  • Develop and implement Compliance Audit plan for Werfen Business Partners.
  • Assesses new higher risk business partners and ascertains the level of risk.
  • Ensures systematic investigational practices by engaging offered resources such as internet searches, public websites or other compliance screening softwares available.
  • Identifies new risks and projects related with Business Partners through various intakes, including regular meetings with stakeholders, business leaders, legal, and external sources.
  • Conducts Compliance trainings regularly
  • Handle highly confidential information
  • Perform statistical and financial analyses.
  • Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure that compliance Issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
  • Manage UNE and ISO compliance certifications

 

Networking/Key relationships

Effective communications and relationship with any department, specially, sales, marketing and finance department

 

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Law.
  • MBA or Higher Educational Degree in Finance, Accounting desirable.

A minimum of at least 5 years audit experience is required as well as one or more relevant professional certifications in healthcare compliance.

  • Prepare comprehensive reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to recognize when learned theoretical concepts should be applied.
  • Solid understanding and ability to apply risk and control concepts.
  • Interact professionally with various levels of hierarchy employees and outside Werfen Companies
  • Understand, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, contracts, when auditing Compliance topics.
  • Comfortable conducting live trainings.
  • Analyze situations, identify problems, recommend solutions.

 

DESIRABLE

  • Project management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

 

Travel requirements:

Up to 50% of time.
