Title of position: Facilities Technical Manager

Location: Barcelona, Spain

This position reports to: Labor Relations & Facilities Services Manager Iberia

Number of direct reports (and total number of team members) reporting to this position: 3

Position Summary

The facilities technical manager is responsible for maintaining the assets of a company or organization, as well as supervising the maintenance of related supplies and equipment. Also, make sure assets are well maintained by overseeing renovation projects and scheduling repairs, safety and security inspections. It also deals with services such as cleaning, gardening, work clothes, vending machines and all services focused on the people's comfort and in the facilitation of business activity.

Min Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

  • Education:

Degree in Industrial engineering

Experience:

5+ years as technical Manager of buildings and facilities management managing technical teams.

  • Additional Skills/Knowledge:
  • Must be able to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people.
  • Must be well organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as management skills of clients and suppliers.
  • Must be able to manage a varied and complex workload and have technical knowledge of construction services.
  • As responsible for a budget, you must be able to control and manage efficiently, and have the ability to make decisions quickly.
  • Must be able to solve problems, as there will be times when things do not go to a plan.
  • Language:

Native Spanish

High level of oral and written English.

The candidate has to be able to work in both languages.

Other languages will be well considered as Portuguese and Italian
