About the Position

Job Summary The Clinical Specialist acts as the clinical subject matter expert with our customers during the pre- and post-sale sales activities focus products. This position assists in the clinical implementation of our products, including educational assistance for clinical interpretation, algorithm development and implementation and other matters related to the clinical aspects that ensures the correct and constant use of our products under direction of the Business Unit Manager. Key Accountabilities • Provide clinical support on focus products by answering clinical inquiries from clinicians or healthcare professionals • Provides clinical consultation (mainly on label questions) to customers relative to Portfolio • Assists with developing marketing support programs delivering relevant information, educational material, presentations and seminars • Actively participates in regional and national industry and medical associations • Manage the arrangement of training locations, logistics, dates, contents, and speaker availability for training courses or clinical meetings, simulators, workshops, associations congresses and any promotional activity • Focus on new business, productivity growth in the high/mid targeted market • Establish relationships with the clinical decision makers and identify KOLs • The activities are tied to increasing revenue, productivity and market share • Supports investigation and study initiatives • Provides clinical education to customers. • Develop medical call panels and accomplish its frequency, coverage and effectiveness to Maximize productivity per instrument • Track, record and document relevant information from all clinical enquires and support • Maintains regular communication with KAMs, product and application specialist and engineers regarding new accounts development • Work closely with other internal or external departments and vendors to escalate promotional activities; negotiates and implements long-term fixes. • Support for sales force or distributors related to key customer activities, trade fairs or exhibitions • Provides other related duties, as required by Werfen Colombia SAS • Understands all maintenance, performance, and advantages of Werfen products • Understands technical aspects of Werfen and competitive products • Ensures compliance with Werfen Code of Ethics Networking/Key relationships With each Primary Group to implement marketing strategy Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor´s Degree in Science, Medical technology, Nursing or related discipline, with extensive experience in the hospital sector and relevant background in Clinical, Sales and Marketing. Desirable experience in areas such as acute care, hemostasis and/or autoimmunity, and background in cardiovascular approach. Intermediate proficiency in English (B1-B2).
